Mt. Playmore

There's a fun new play area in Austin called Mt. Playmore, that the boys love going to.  There's a very large area to climb, slide, swing, along with arcade-type games.  

 With the winning tickets, here is what Connor chose. A Whoopee Cushion!

Sic 'Em and Gig 'Em

It's no secret that our family is die hard Baylor Bear fans and Josh and his dad bleed maroon and white.  So...this is what happens when there is a Baylor home game the same time as an Aggie home game:

Photo Roundup, Part 1

Here are pictures from the past month:

 Connor put on my hat at the pool.  This will definitely be a blackmail photo someday!!

 Connor does not like for anyone to put their arm around him.  But Reid loves to put his arm around his big brother.  Moments after this photo, a fight ensued.  

 The boys were in the backseat as I was in the driveway talking to a neighbor.  I later found these photos Connor had taken:

 This one makes me laugh!  I feel like he's about to start a rap...

 It might be September, but we're still swimming!!

 Isn't this cute?!?  He was so tired that he fell asleep standing up!

Reading books to Mimi and Papa Jud

 Connor was king of the day at school.

 Eating Chick-fil-a ice cream!

 Reid was attempting to drive the cozy coupe

 But he got stuck!!

 He put on Daddy's glasses and was giving a "Daddy look!" 

 He was mimicking me putting on makeup!!

 One afternoon we came home from being gone several hours and  I noticed Reid's door was shut.  When I opened the door, the night light & sound machine were on and his curtains were cracked.  He told me that Lenny the Lion was nocturnal and didn't want him to wake up and be scared.  Then under the covers was a toy that Lenny could "shoot" at a bad guy, should one come in the room!  We had to whisper while in the room, too!  He has such an imagination!

 This is a picture Connor drew at school.  It translates to "random girl" who was a good citizen throwing away trash.

 One afternoon a week the library has what is called, "Explorer's Club" where they have events like crafts, exploration, legos and on this day, science.  They made rockets on this day.

This kid says funny stuff all day long.  The other day I had not shaved my legs and he said, "ouch your freckles hurt me.  Wow you have a lot of freckles!"
