Look at these faces. So sweet and innocent right?!?
HA HA!!! These two are something else! Connor is VERY sweet and behaves well much of the time. (I might be stretching the truth a little bit, afterall he is 3 1/2!) He likes to watch "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" and one of the things they say on there is "NEVER!" So guess what response I get from Connor a lot when I ask him to do something?!? "Never! I will NEVER do that!"
Whenever I'm not-so-happy with him or he knows he's about to get into trouble, he quickly tells me, "Mommy, I love you!"
He LOVES school! In fact today he told me he loves school so much that he wished he could go there all day, every day!!!! I am soooo glad we switched schools and love the fact that he enjoys it so. Next year brother Reid will be joining him. Speaking of brother Reid...
My oh my! This boy is going to give me (and his teachers) a run for our money. But he's so darn cute that I have a feeling he's going to somehow work his way out of trouble!!! He is a screamer and in fact, I had his hearing check just to see if he had hearing problems. Thankfully he didn't, but he is sooo loud. Maybe a future cheerleader?!?
Last week he woke up screaming and when I went in to check on him he was breathing very rapidly. By the time I got him to the doctor that afternoon it was determined that he had bronchiolitis and his oxygen level was low. We immediately started a breathing treatment on him which tremendously helped. While we were in the doctor's office we found out that he had another ear infection. So we started him on medicine and breathing treatments and within no time he was back to himself!
I don't sleep a lot and by the end of the day I have no more energy. BUT they continuously keep us laughing and when watching them together I feel so incredibly blessed!!
Aunt Cindy gave the boys these huge measuring shoes. Connor was trying to balance and walk in them!
Connor and Reid love to get into bed together and Connor will read to his little brother. Most days it's in Connor's bed, but this day it was in Reid's crib. I often hear Connor say "Reid can you say..." or "Reid where is the ..." It's so cute!!
Whether its blocks, logs or train tracks, Connor works hard at building something, then little brother comes and knocks it down or tears it apart!
Friday morning I was going into my bedroom to get ready for my step class when I noticed I was locked out of my room!!! Evidently, Connor locked the door then shut it behind him. In order to unlock the door, you have to take off the entire doorknob. So instead of getting ready, I was breaking into my own bedroom! He used to do that to the bathroom until we finally had to turn the door knob around so he couldn't keep locking us out of the bathroom! When asked if he did it, he replied, "No I don't know how that door locked."
I don't know if you can tell, but Reid had one leg crossed over the other and one sticking out of his crib!
Lounging in Mommy and Daddy's bed!
Even though it's 70 degrees today, yesterday we actually got snow!! So we made a fire to roast marshmallows and eat s'mores! Yum.
And I leave you with a few Connor-isms:
Squeezy: When you park too close to another car making it hard to get out
Dollystars: Another word for mysterious
Colorado: Another word for avocado
He is noticing people of different races and described one guy as "the man with the dark face."
His arm was asleep and he said the arm was taking a nap since they (he nor the arm) took a nap that day!
He told me, "Mommy, I took my shoe off and there is an ankle on my foot. That means my foot is growing!"
