What's in a Name?

Since we're not finding out the sex of baby #2, we need to think of a name to call him or her instead of just #2. Uncle Jason suggested SHIM and MaMaw suggested Payton b/c it could be a boy or girls name. Um, so far SHIM is winning. So let us know if anyone has suggestions!

This weekend we went to San Antonio and Connor got to spend time with his grandparents and MaMaw's dog, Bo (or as Connor calls him, BO BO!) Bo is very old and just lets Connor climb all over him. Here are a few pictures of the boys bonding:

It's OVER!!!

The 1st trimester, that is. Thankfully I have now gone through two 1st trimesters with no morning sickness. I was really tired though and i'm hoping that all comes to a halt soon. I went to the doctor today for what I thought was my 12 week appointment, but with the ultrasound they took 3 measurements and all said I was 13 weeks and 1 day. So my due date has been moved up to March 23.

Everything looked great and from what the doctor saw today, I have a very healthy baby. He started scrolling between the legs and asked if we were going to find out and I quickly shouted NO so he kept scrolling and didn't stop on that area!

Here are pictures but it's hard to see anything. Our little bean has definitely gotten bigger in the last 6 weeks! It's amazing how fast they grow!

While at the baby doctor, Connor learned a new word: BABY. He says it so clearly and it's really cute. (Of course in a few months HE might not think the word "baby" is very cute!!)

Over the river and through the woods...

to Grandmother's house we'll go! Yep Connor got to spend an entire week at Mimi and Papa Jud's house and had a wonderful time. He never even asked for MaMa or D. I came into town on Saturday and hung out for a few days.

While at Mimi and PJ's house, Connor learned these new tricks:

-He became really good at playing chase and hide and go seek. Mimi recently added onto their house so it's never ending running and playing.
-Papa Jud taught him the correct form to shoot the basketball. Every time he sees a basketball goal he shouts "ball, ball." Maybe we'll have a 3rd generation Baylor basketball player in our family.
-He started saying Elmo, but at some point, it switched to Memo.
-He put on a piano concert for us often. He played a few notes turned to us and claped, then walked over to the rug and danced. Same routine every time. And of course we clap and clap.
-He can sort of say Jud so whenever he sees him, he says "JU"
-He walks into a room and shouts "A" I think he's trying to say HEY!
-He has learned how to fold his hands together and pray. Actually he gets quiet and watches everyone at the table praying then laughs and laughs when we say Amen.

Below are pictures of his time there. I think Camp Mimi and Papa Jud will be taking place more often. Especially once April gets here!!

Also, today Connor had his 15 month check-up. It was not good as we were in there too long, he was really tired and bored and began crying BEFORE the shots. But we made it through and now he's napping. Here are his results:

Weight: 26 lb - 70%
Height: 33 1/2 - off the charts
Head: 48 1/4 - 80%

The doctor said it's common for babies who are this tall to be thin. All in all, it was a good appointment and he's doing well!!

Hangin' with D

D as in Daddy, of course. Connor still refers to Josh as D and it's so cute to watch him say it. He loves helping D out whenever there is a project under way (which if any of you know handyman Josh, that's often.)

Helping in the yard:

Helping in the garage:

And finally cooling off in the pool:

In other news...if any of you ever watch Friday Night Lights, you may see a familiar face this season---ME!! I spent 10 hours yesterday on the set of FNL. I was in a scene with Tim Riggins and then another at the pep rally with most of the cast. I didn't want to run up to the cast members and ask for pictures (although lots of people were doing that) so I just got a couple of the pep rally.

This is the best I could do of my Dillon Panthers t-shirt.
