Swimming in October

It finally feels like fall around our neck of the woods, but until this week, it's been hot enough to go swimming.  Right before school started we met some neighbors who have 2 little boys the same ages as Connor and Reid.  We've been carpooling to and from kindergarten and have had so much fun playing with them!  I just wish we would have met them sooner!

Reid, Eli, Connor and Greyson.  Greyson is 7 months older than Connor and Eli is 6 weeks older than Reid but look how much taller my boys are!!
We tried and tried and tried to get a picture of all four of them jumping in at the same time, but no such luck.  Because our Y has an indoor pool, I'm sure the swimming will continue through the winter months!

Weekend Date with Reid

While Connor and Josh were hunting with Paw Paw, Reid and I had the weekend to ourselves. On Friday we dined at Chick-fil-a then headed home to watch a movie in Mommy's bed. When it was time to go to bed Reid sweetly said, "Mommy, I like date nights!" :)

The next day we joined Mimi, Papa Jud and Uncle Jason in Waco for a Baylor Bear game.

Mommy's friend, Miss Sarah, was not at the game so we sent her this picture.
Cheering on the Bears with Mimi
 And Uncle Jason
#16 Tevin Reese, who will probably go pro.  We love Sugar!! (that's what we've nicknamed him!)
I sure did love my weekend date with Reidy Reid!! :)

Fun at Paw Paw's

A few weekends ago we split the boys up--Connor and Josh had a boys weekend and Reid had a date with Mommy.  What a wonderful weekend for all of us!!  Josh took Connor down to Paw Paw's house to hunt, spend time outside and do boy stuff!! On the way down, they had to stop off at Buckee's and Connor bought a Duck Dynasty shirt.
Here is Paw Paw and Connor on the tractor.
Josh would send Connor out in the field to spot the birds then send them Josh's way.

 Bird huntin' with Daddy

At the end of the day, the boys walked in to get ready for supper and Connor immediately crashed and fell asleep!!  I think that's a sign of a good day!!  He has been talking about bird hunting ever since.  I think Josh has a hunting partner for life!!

ROC Race

I'm baaaaack!!!!  What a crazy few weeks it's been.  Thank goodness I have a handyman for a husband because he has come to my rescue!!
First with fixing the window/door on my car. Fancy, right?!?
He's been working on our back patio:
He's also fixing a leaky faucet and researching washing machines.  But most importantly, he's fixed my computer!!! Yea Josh!

I know I have lots of catching up to do so I'll do my best to post regularly and get everyone up to speed. (Papa Jud!)

Last month a few girls and I ran in a 5K called Roc Race, which is like the show, Wipeout.  It was very hot, but SO much fun!!
Ready to Race!!

Getting ready to do the wrecking ball!!!!
Sliding down to the finish line!!
We Roc'd it!!! Such a fun day!
I had my support group cheering me on!!
Because I haven't posted pictures in a while, some of us have changed.  With all the work Josh has been doing, he's, uh, aged just a bit:
But I still LOVE him!!!!! Thanks, hon!
