Baptism

Sunday was Connor's 5 month birthday as well as his baptism. We had all the family here to witness this blessed event. By here, I actually mean in Livingston at the same church with the same pastor where Josh and I got married. Connor did great but by the end, fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder. He wore his uncle Jason's shoes! Here is a family picture along with his regular monthly photos next to the laughing lion.

At 5 months, he now holds his bottle...most of the time, LOVES the jumperoo, wakes up once during the night then is ready to go around 6:00am every morning, rolls over both ways, loves to explore faces with his hands. I'm not sure how much he weighs now, but I bought him some 6 month jeans this weekend and they looked like capris and wouldn't even buckle around the belly. So we now wear 6-9 month clothes. If he keeps on the same track as his uncle Jason, I'm in trouble!

Homecoming

This past weekend was Baylor Homecoming. This has been a family tradition for many, many years. My dad graduated in '70, mom in '71, me in '01 and my brother in '03. We've also had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who have graduated from BU, and currently have a cousin who is a junior. So needless to say, this weekend is one we always look forward to. And this year, Connor was introduced to this tradition. He loved the bonfire (I guess we'll be having fires this winter) slept through much of the parade and laughed and played during the ballgame. We're excited to take him back to the BU vs. A&M game next weekend.

It's a bird, it's a plane...

It's SUPERBABY!!!! Clark Kent look out!! This outfit was given to me before Connor was born and yea it fit! Thankfully it warmed up a bit so I didn't have to find leggings for him. Our neighborhood had a Halloween party and hayride, which was fun because we got to meet many of our neighbors. Below are some pictures of our little super hero.

Full of Energy

A couple of weeks ago we decided to put Connor's Jumperoo together. His feet couldn't touch the ground so he didn't like just hanging there. But now since he's grown taller, his feet touch the ground and off he goes. We can tell that his legs have gotten stronger and he can stand for longer periods of time. He just laughs and laughs when he's in here.
