Sip & See

A couple of weeks ago my lovely church friends threw a Sip & See for Reid and me. It was so sweet and thoughtful of them and we had a great time visiting.  Thanks, girls!!

My mom and Josh's mom wore almost the exact same thing!!!

Happy 2 Months!

Reid turns two months today! At this stage:

--He doesn't really nap, other than about a 10-15 minute cat nap. Every once in a while I will luck out and he'll sleep in the car seat or snuggled up next to me, but that's it.
--Goes to bed sometime between 7:00-9:00 then wakes up between 1:30-2:30, again between 4:30-5:30 and up for good around 7:00.
--Has been eating 4 oz about every 3 hours, but the past few days has been eating 5-6oz every 2-2.5 hours! I think he's having a growth spurt. Reading back to Connor's 2 months, the doctor told us the sleepless nights were probably due to his constant growth spurts, so maybe that's the case with Reid as well.
--Smiles and talks a lot more and I LOVE having conversations with him. He will flare his nose and move his eyebrows up and down when talking. So cute!
--Really enjoys bathtime. He gets very still and quite when I'm bathing him.
--Uses the pacifier sometimes, but spits it out a lot too! Likes to suck on his hands, so much so that sometimes he gags himself!
--Loves the mobile in his crib. He can lie there for the longest time just watching it.
Check back in a few days for his stats of height and weight!

And we can't forget about Big Brother C!

I think he's outgrowing his crib:

Connor loooooves his baby brother. He can't wait until Reid is old enough to play with him. Here is a friendly game of Peek-A-Boo. You'll hear him say "Peek a boo.  I see you Baby Reid" in a high pitch voice, which is the way he talks to him. This game had been going on for quite some time, and I caught the tail end of it.

Lovin' that Watermelon

Connor and our next door neighbor enjoying two summer favorites - watermelon and swimming!
Our neighbor is 3 months older than Connor and has a sister who is two months older than Reid.  We have really enjoyed living next door to them, but they are moving next week.  We are so sad to see them go.

Fun in the Sun

I have a feeling we're going to have several "Fun in the Sun" posts this summer. We have turned our backyard into a waterpark filled with a pool, sprinkler, slip and slide and a huge sand box.

We love playing on the playground!  Connor found older boys to start chasing.  He'd yell, "Hey boys. How doin?" And once he got onto them, "Boys stop runnin!"

And what's the start of summer without corn on the cob?
Baby Reid just chillin'

Reid loves taking a bath; I'll have some bathtime shots soon.  Here he is bundled up ready for his pj's.
"WHAT did you say????" Love this expression!!
All smiles
