Today we took a drive down to Spicewood to visit Krause Springs. (Click the name to read more about it)  It's a beautiful place and we had a fun visit.

We were greeted by these enormous cypress trees.

 Time to get in the water. It was a cool 68 degrees!!

 The scenery was so pretty!

 I do wish, though, we would have brought tubes or floats, because some parts got deep (and because of the color of the water, you couldn't tell when it dropped off!)

 There was a cove with a waterfall.

 There was also a swimming pool which was much cooler than 68 degrees, but that didn't stop the boys.  Reid jumped right in (over and over and over) before even testing the cold water!

 There was a little "hole" in which the kids could swim back through to climb out and jump off again.

 Reid was fearless.  You can see how he's much smaller than the other kids jumping off!

More Summer Fun!

Oh with all the fun we've had, I'm sad to see the summer come to an end.  Here's more fun memories captured!!

While at the park with Kennedy and Brady, a man was there training dogs.  The kids got to meet all the dogs, which they loved!

I always find photos of Reid on my phone.  Age 4 and he's already mastered the selfie!!

Take a closer look at this picture.  We were at the grocery store and he acted like this box was a phone.  He walked around talking on this as it was up to his ear!!

The library here has great shows during the summer.  One day they had a magician and Connor was called up to stage! He was a great assistant!

 The deal was whoever won at bowling got to pick where we had lunch.  Connor picked CiCi's Pizza!  They had a mac and cheese pizza, which the boys each had at least 5-6 pieces!

Some kids go from the outside, indoors to pee, my boys leave the inside to go pee outside!  BOYS!

 At chick-fil-a where the boys on average eat 18 chicken nuggets, fruit, french fries and an ice cream cone. (only to ask for a snack about an hour later!)
