Halloween

I realized I never posted pictures from Halloween!!  Only a month late...

I uploaded a fun app on my phone that the boys enjoyed!!

Cowboy and Indian

Cowboy Connor with the Indian Princess, Abigail
And the two sweet Indians, Abigail and Reid
The Village People?!?  Reid, Josh and our friend, Mr. Reed

Reid goes to a preschool academy one day a week for one hour with Mommy.  Here is his class:
Showing off the cupcake he made in class.
On Halloween day, Connor's school had crazy hat day.  He got lots of attention wearing this!!

His teacher, who is a UT alum, showed what she thought of the hat!
That afternoon, I read the book "Go Away Big Green Monster" to Connor's class, then we made big green monsters.  Of course, Reid thinks he's part of the class and had to make one too!

Roll On Over

A couple of months ago Connor went to his first skating party and he had so much fun! Last week, both boys were invited to our friend, Kennedy's party at a roller rink.

Reid with our friends, Corbin and Abigail

Connor took no time getting back on the rink.  He skated, and skated fast!

Reid was pretty hesitant.  He is very impatient and if he can't figure something out, he just quits.  So I had to keep dragging him onto the rink to keep trying.

Getting a bit brave...

You can tell how fast they were skating!

A very fun birthday party!!

Austin Fun

Anytime I tell people we live in Austin, they make comments like "what a great city!"  And it is.  Unfortunately, we don't take advantage of all the great things Austin has to offer since we usually stay in our neck of the woods (which is about 30 minutes from downtown.)
Yesterday, we decided to have an Austin outing with our good friends, the Coleman's.  We definitely hit some of Austin's hot spots and took advantage of the gorgeous day!

First up was riding Zephyr the train at Zilker Park.

From there we tried an Austin original, Home Slice Pizza. Yum!
The kids loved drinking their St. Arnolds Root Beer out of the bottle!

 Cheers!
They give the kids pizza dough balls to play with.  Genius!!

Reid said he was a cooker?!?
And Connor had shaving cream on his face!
After lunch, it was time to walk up and down South Congress to find a few murals.
Apparently, they didn't read the sign first...
Ok, better!

One of my favorite murals!

After leaving downtown, we had to swing by the mall and as we walked into Macy's, Santa's mailbox and letters were set up.

To translate the above: "From Reid. I been good so can I want a toy dinosaur"
To translate: "for Christmas I would like a house in Magnolia! And I have tried to be good.  And this year I am going to be at my grandmas house. from: Connor"

If you stamp and mail them, Macy's will donate $1 to [I believe]Make a Wish Foundation.

It was a great day spent making wonderful memories!
And I love them so much...
