Last month, the boys and I hopped on a plane and flew to Estes Park, Colorado for the week.
Ready to board!
Here we were in our seats, and the two people in front of us were NOT kid friendly. One lady moved seats and the other kept glaring at me saying, "tell your baby to stop hitting my seat" (which he barely was!) and "stop putting the tray table down." Needless to say, it was a very stressful morning!
But of course, once we got to the beautiful mountains and weather, I just couldn't complain! We took nightly walks (wearing fleeces in August! What?!?)
Can you spy Reid and Connor?
Our first hike of the trip was Sprague Lake
We loved our daily walks and hikes
Our cute is this?!? They were looking at chipmunks
The last time we went to Sprague Lake was July 2010, when Reid was just 3 months old...
And now here we are 7 years later. Same lake. Same Momma. Same boy! (and same sunglasses!)
Trying to get a picture, but they couldn't keep their hands to themselves. *sigh*
I love how Drew posed here! (He discovered his pockets and thought they were pretty cool!)
S'mores, Estes Park style
Drew does not like the shower so we improvised with a bath tub sled!
Movie Night!
Connor's favorite place, Trout Haven
Watching the fish flop around and that's as far as he'd get
And because his big brothers were fishing, he had to try it out too!
Playing chess at the Y
Getting ready to ride horses
BEAUTIFUL horseback riding through the Rockies!
Lily Lake with 1, 2 & 3!
Storms rolled in most afternoons.
The big boys getting ready for Day Camp
Elk
Playing a game with MeMaw
Another day, another hike!
Cannot keep their hands to themselves!!
Aren't these tree roots so neat?!?
Guess what...Hands. Not to themselves!🙄🙄🙄
Big Elk!
Silly boys!
On the way home, Drew finally gave in and took a nap on the plane!
As usual, we had a wonderful vacation! Thank you for having us, MeMaw!
