Today MaMaw and Aunt Val babysat Connor while Josh and I went hiking. We hiked for 6 hours and covered about 8 miles. And let me tell you, walking up a mountain over rocky terrain, in a higher altitude while rain comes down is no walk in the park. But we did it and had so much fun. It only rained off and on so it wasn't too bad. Josh stopped along the way to fly fish and I sat and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I've said it numerous times, but I LOVE this state!! You can't beat the weather, the scenery is amazing, there's wildlife everywhere and the men here are pretty darn cute (I can say that since Josh grew up here!)
Speaking of wildlife, you will see in these pictures that an elk has become our friend and comes by to see us everyday. He eats, sleeps and just hangs out and of course Connor loves to wave to him. And the other day Nanny (Josh's grandma) thought she heard or saw a bear at the house but no one believed her. Then the next morning there was a bear paw on her car which is parked under the carport by the front door!!
And lastly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHY!!!
