Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!

Did you know that Santa and his reindeers say HO HO HO HO HO HO over and over?  Well according to Connor they do!  He doesn't understand what Santa does (yea we get off cheap one last year!) but he definitely knows WHO he is & WHAT he says.  I heard from lots of people that at this age (18 months) kids aren't too fond of ol'St. Nick, so I wasn't sure what to expect when we went to have his picture taken.  We went back to Lakeline Mall with Mimi and Papa Jud to the same Santa as last year (I mean, that is the real one after all, right?!?)

All smiles!! YEA!!!  He did great, despite me thinking this was going to end in lots of tears and screams.  For a couple of weeks now I've been talking a lot about this jolly ol' man so he could become somewhat familiar with him.  When we first got to the mall, Josh walked Connor up there to warm him up, but he was great.  He got right in his lap and soon started talking to Santa. (C saw a balloon up in the ceiling so he kept pointing and telling Santa about it.)  He does look like he has on a shirt and pants that are too small, but I promise it's just the way Santa is holding him.  We didn't want to blow this good photo moment by fixing his clothes so we left them.  After the picture he kept actually wanting to go back and see Santa again!!

It's so amazing to see how much he's grown in a year!  Speaking of growing, we go for his 18 month check up tomorrow to see if he continues to be off the charts in height.  I went for my doctor's appt today but I'll post on that later.  So stay tuned for more to come...
