Waiting Patiently

Well it seems that our little one is in no hurry to enter the world.  I went for a check-up today and we have no movement whatsoever.  I am still at a 0, the baby hasn't dropped and seems perfectly content where he/she is.  BUT,  looking at the ultrasound, the doctor just kept saying everything looks perfect.  She even commented that I have had "beautiful blood pressure" my whole pregnancy.  So she told us to enjoy the weekend b/c she didnt think she'd be seeing us until my appointment next week. 

According to the ultrasound (which of course you give and take a few days) at 37 wks baby is measuring:

7lb 1 oz --- a whole pound gained from a week ago!  Maybe this baby WILL be big afterall
Head -- 38 weeks
Stomach -- 35 weeks
Leg -- 40 weeks

With Connor I tried every trick in the book, short of drinking castor oil, to get things moving and nothing worked.  So this time we might just be patient and wait for God to tell us when it's time!!

Too cool for school

These next two pics probably aren't Josh's favorites.  One day I was doing my makeup on the bed and Connor decided to join in.  The scary part is that he kind of knew what he was doing.  In this first picture he was pretending to apply foundation.  I tried to get him to smile and look at me but Dora was on, and well, she is way cooler to watch than Mom! The 2nd picture is his attempt to curl his eyelashes.  I don't think we really need to be concerned though b/c Connor is ALL boy! In fact he gets in trouble at MDO and the teacher said oh he's just a boy!!  He thinks everything is a ball that you can throw across the room and plays a little bit rough.  So hopefully we can just use these pictures as blackmail someday!!
