Happy Birthday, Reid!

ONE MONTH!! Being born on the 31st, on the even months do we celebrate his monthly birthdays on the 30th or on the 1st? And what about February??

I love having another little boy! Since high school I always said I wanted my first two kids to be boys and God heard me! :) At one month, here are some things to know about Reid:

--He probably weighs close to 11lb. as he's been gaining about 6oz a week since birth

--He eats about 4 oz every 2-3 hours, although this week it's been more like 1-1.5 hours. Josh keeps thinking we're not feeding him enough and looking back at Connor's one month, his nurse told us we should be feeding him 5 oz every 3 hours. So I guess we'll up the dose. And if anyone has extra Similac coupons hanging around we'd love to take them off your hands. I'm nursing some, but just can't keep up.

--He LOVES being in the snugli. He falls asleep in a matter of seconds when I put him in there.

--He is not crazy about the car seat unless his tummy is full!
--He only likes a pacifier some of the time, but usually spits it out soon after it's been in.

Keeping the tradition, here starts the monthly shots with the same lion and chair I used with Connor:

And my hilarious little Con-man is back!!! A couple of weeks ago he was running fever from 102-over 104 and I think he just wasn't feeling well, which caused him to act the way he did. I mean, the boy didn't eat for a week, which is highly unusual. Last night he ate 8 piece chicken tenders and still wanted more. The way these two boys eat I think I'll need a lifetime membership to Costco's!

Connor's gotten less jealous of Reid and wants to be with him all the time! I cannot leave the room b/c Connor tries to pick him up or hug & kiss him, or tickle him, or as he did yesterday, tackle him. It is cute though to hear him say "Hi Baby Weid" because his voice goes up an octave.
