Last weekend we went to a local festival where they had all kinds of fun, FREE things for kids to do. One of the fun events was riding a "bucking bull" and seeing how long you could stay on. The kids had to be 3 years old, but we fibbed and signed Connor up. We honestly did not think he would do this, but he surprised us and was soooo cute!! Here is a video and pictures. Before he came out of the gate, they announced "Connor Settlemeyer riding the horse, Twinkie" but I started the video too late.
We also entered him in a sack race, again thinking he wouldn't do it. But, he stepped in that sack and hopped his way all the way to the finish line.
He also had the chance to ride a horse:
And I must admit that I was a bad parent. This cute train was giving rides so I planned to put Connor in one seat and Reid and I ride in another. There was only one seat left so I told Connor he could go on without me. Well, little did I know that train took off about 1/2 a mile out of sight!!! As you can see, Connor was not thrilled with us and when asked if he wanted to ride it again, he screamed "NO!"
Yes, Reid was there, too!! :)
