18 Months

I can't believe my baby is 1 1/2!  I loved this stage with Connor and I am loving it now with Reid as well.  We had his check up on Friday and here are his stats:

Weight: 30lb -- 92%
Height: 35.5 in -- off the charts
Head: 48.5cm -- 75%
He wears 2T, and in some brands (like Target, Wal-mart) he wears a 3T!  His shoe size is 7 1/2W.  He is obsessed with trash cans!! Wherever we go, he finds and has to touch each trash can.  Sometimes to keep him busy I gave him lots of trash to throw away!
Reid has many different expressions and even though he and Connor looking nothing alike, their expressions sure do!  The doctor said he was such a ham and ended by saying, "he's just perfect!"  Always great to hear!!!
He's a wonderful sleeper!! He sleeps 12 hours at night and takes a 2-3 hour nap.  He can be right in the middle of playing and we say, "Reid, it's time to go to bed."  He'll put away his toys and run into his room.  Then we begin to read to him, but many times he just shuts the book and wants to get in bed.  Sooooo different than Connor was and still is!!!
We can't tell if he's going to be a lefty or not.  He bats and golfs left handed but has recently started throwing right.  Connor does everything with his right hand, except eat.  His vocabulary is expanding and big brother tries to help with that.  They're going to have their own language because Connor makes up words and phrases all the time.  (I'll post some Connor-isms soon.)

Like Connor, Reid likes to sing.  He'll start mumbling words in all different keys, hold out the last note then clap for himself.  There is a rap song called, "Make 'em say uhhhhh."  Here is the radio version and the white girl rapper version doing a duet with Reid.
