Summer Wrap Up #1

Boy has it been a fast, busy and FUN summer!  Usually  by this time I am ready for MDO to start and get back into the routine of things.  But for various reasons, I'm not ready for the summer to end!!  In addition to the traveling and fun we've had on the road, we've also had fun close to home. We are fortunate to live near so many great areas, pools, playgrounds, etc.  Because there are so many pictures, I'm going to split them up into two posts.  So here's Round 1.

Having fun at Boathouse Grill

We had fun going to lots of movies this summer!!
 Sprinkler Park!!
 Nothing says summer like watermelon!
They had a big responsibility feeding our neighbor's cat when they were out of town.  And now they live in Nebraska :(  So sad to see many of our neighbors move away.
My little cutie patootie.  (Which he corrects me and says he's not a cutie patootie, he's Reid!)
Watch out! The police men are coming!!

The boys love to take pictures, so here are their models posing for them.

Even doing chores on our summer break (which Connor really enjoys!!)

The boys lined up the kitchen table chairs and pretended to be at the movies.
Who needs matching shoes?!? Not this guy!

We have so many sprinkler parks nearby!
Swinging at a pinata at a birthday party.
 A little selfie
Reid fell asleep on the floor and Connor built a fort all around him. Reid slept through it all!
Ready for the rain in their rainboots!
We went to a couple of Round Rock Express games.
They even made the big screen while posing with Spike!
Super Daddy! We parked far so both boys got to take a ride on Daddy!

For Connor's birthday, we went to Toys 'r Us to buy something from Uncle Cannon.  He picked out an army tanker set and loves it!!
Ice cream shakes from Sonic!! Mmmm...

 Hanging out at the pool

Connor is really into Legos! Here he is showing off his lego motorcycle he built.
Ummm... there are just no words.
Reid only sleeps in shorts-nothing else.  He accidentally put both legs in one side of his shorts and pulled them up; thus you get two silly Santas!
 Eh, what's up Doc?

We had a fun week of VBS at our church.

I taught crafts for the week.
Reid had front row tickets to his brother's concert.

 Playing more legos!
One day we met our friends, the Jensen's, at Sea World.

Afterwards, we had ice cream at McDonald's!

Playing at Chick-fil-a; always a favorite!!
Reid was looking for ONE specific hot wheel!!!
 Spiderman
We were out eating and saw a Cedar Park Fire truck pull up.  The firefighters were so nice and let the boys play in their firetruck.

They talked to one another through the headphones!

This is a video they made for Uncle Jason's birthday.

All this fun sure is exhausting.  And this is only one half of the summer!!
