Summer Wrap Up #3

With temperatures still in the upper 90's, I'd say it's still feels like summer enough to keep posting summer pictures!!

One weekend our good friends, the Colemans, invited us to spend the weekend at their lake house.  We had lots of fun spending the day in the boat.  Here is Connor in the middle of the lake!  I think it's such a cool picture.

Reid decided to take over and drive the boat.
Each boy took a turn riding in the inner tube with Daddy.  Our cautious one, Connor, was scared and did not like it!  Reid, on the other hand, is our little dare devil and loved it!!

We were able to visit my life long friend, Bria, and swim at her house.
For those of you who know Papa Jud, you know he eats A LOT of Whataburger.  While he and Mimi were in Alaska for 15 days, we had to rub it in and send PJ these pictures of us eating the W!

We played LOTS of games this summer.  One of our favorites--UNO.  The boys have gotten really clever at playing and know just how to beat Mommy and Daddy!!

We like to go on picnics with Daddy.
See all the green grass in the background?  That's what used to be Lake Travis!
Connor went to science camp which he LOVED!!
He tie dyed a  t-shirt there.
One day we rode the train downtown for lunch with Kennedy and Brady.

We went bowling a couple of times, where Reid would do a dance every time he knocked over pins!
One morning we went to story time at Barnes and Noble. After the stories were read, the kids do some arts and crafts.  This day it was building your family tree.  Both boys cut out this picture depicting Daddy!!!!! I love it!
We enjoyed swimming at our YMCA.

 Look out, Connor!!

The boys both took swim lessons this summer and did remarkably well.  They learned so much in such a short period of time.  I was very proud!

 Connor loves playing legos!!
I forgot to include these on the post about VBS, but here is Connor's group:
 And Reid's group

Connor--on his own--came up with the idea to make signs for his and Reid's doors.  I love them!

I think this concludes the summer fun we had.  And as you can see from these pictures, I think it was a very successful summer!! :)
