Reid Turns 4!!

Where has the time gone?!? We love our Reidy Reid so much. He's still a stinker but keeps us laughing constantly. He loves to count and can easily count to 100+. He also enjoys reading and is doing remarkably well. He knows all of the kindergarten sight words and many 1st grade sight words as well. At bedtime, HE reads books to us. His teacher, Ms. Dawna, always tells me how smart he is! :) We are proud parents!

Reid is one tough cookie and has bumps and bruises all over his body. He is definitely all boy! In addition to math and reading, he loves playing games. Right now his favorites are Sorry and Uno. And he beats his mommy and daddy a lot! He also enjoys playing baseball and golf. He is right-handed, but hits left.

More than anything or anyone, he LOVES his big brother and will do whatever Connor tells him to do. He wakes up and immediately wants to know where Connor is. Connor goes to the bathroom and Reid wants to know where he is. Connor is at school, and he asks where Connor is!! I love that they are so close and Reid really looks up to him.

I took him for his 4 year check up today. The doctor was asking Reid if he ate fruits and veggies and asked what his favorite food was. He answered cheese and oreos. Awesome.

He cried when he got his two shots, but was a trooper. It was windy outside and he told me the wind made his shots hurt. We went to Lakeshore afterwards to spend some of his birthday money and he soon forgot all about the shots!

Height: 44.5"--off the chart

Weight: 42lb 9.6oz--91%ile

Compared to Connor at age 4, Reid is 3/4 inches shorter and just under 2 lb bigger. According to the charts, he'll be around 6'6" by age 18.

We had a superhero birthday party this past weekend and I'll post on that soon. In the meantime, here is a look back at the past four years.
