While Connor and Reid were in Livingston, Josh and I had many dates!
First stop, the gun range. I had never been to a gun range before and had never shot a handgun. This handgun was a vintage 1911 .45. I got a little emotional on my first shot, but after watching Josh and having him talk me through it, I continued on and did pretty well :)
That gun was not an easy one to shoot!!
The next night, we had dinner and drinks with no little boy fighting or distractions!
One day we went to Town Lake and went kayaking. But first, we had to try out one an Austin original, Sputniks.
Here is a picture of our food. Josh had an unusual but great burger and I had a gourmet hot dog. Both were YUM-O!!
Then onto the lake to go kayaking. We don't do this very often but really enjoy when we do!

One night we went to trivia night! We didn't win a prize but still had lots of fun!!
It was great spending a few days alone with my love!
