Austin Aquarium

Last year there was an aquarium built about 10 miles from our house and I remember thinking that we'd be there all the time.  Well, finally after months of being opened, we tried it out.  I had not heard great things about it because it is very small and not too many animals to see. But the boys enjoy seeing animals so we met our good friends, Greyson and Eli over there one day after school.
They LOVED IT!!!!  The whole time we were there, Connor kept thanking me for bringing them! :)
They had dinosaurs on display
There is an iguana behind Connor.  He thought it was fake and was touching it, only to realize it was real! He kept warning everyone that walked in that the iguana was not fake!!
 Talking to Mr. Iguana
Petting sting rays (or as Reid calls it, stinga rays.)

 That's a lot of fish!
Those little arms coming through the fencing belong to Connor and Reid.

The whole gang--Eli, Hadley, Reid, Greyson, Connor

As we got into the car and started driving away, Connor once again thanked me for bringing him.  Then that night he talked Josh's ear off and told him every detail of his outing.  Just hearing his excitement and appreciation made that visit worth every penny! :)
