Once school was out, we headed to north Texas to see our friends who had moved earlier in the year. We met at Six Flags in Arlington and it was so much fun. All of the Dallas schools were not out yet so the park was so bare. Yea for us!
Drew was able to ride several rides!
Reid is my thrill seeker, his momma is not. So Ms. Jenifer offered to go with Reid one of the loopty-loop coasters! The rest of us just pointed and watched!
Drew and I sat in the backseat while the big boys drove us around!!
Time for a train ride!
See those loops in the back? That's what Reid and Ms. Jenifer rode
Jenifer stayed back with Drew while the kids and I rode the Roaring Rapids and got soaked!
Taking a little power nap
Can you see Drew next to me?!?
Because there weren't many people there, the kids were able to ride the rides over and over and over. As we were getting ready to leave, Reid said he had a headache and could barely move. Slowly he was able to make it to the car but kept complaining of a headache. I made him eat a little bit, but he just wanted to go to sleep. When we got to Uncle Jason's house, I made him take a shower and put his pj's on. He sat on the couch and in no time, fell asleep. I tried to get him to move, but no such luck. So finally I picked him up (which I later realized wasn't the best idea, as I was sloshing him from side to side.)
When I got to the stairs, I set him down and asked him to walk up the stairs. He was so tired that again, he fell asleep on the stairs. I ran up the stairs for something and heard him coughing down below. I went to check on him...he was throwing up all over Jason's stairs! Poor guy. I finally got him to bed where he passed out until the morning (and thankfully was not sick any longer!) The big thrill rides had finally caught up with him!!
As we were getting ready to leave, we couldn't find Drew. Where is he???
Despite Reid's ending to the day, we all had such a good time!!!
