Day 3: Animal Kingdom

Day 3 was spent at Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately it rained off and on and a couple of the most popular rides were shut down for a while. Even though that was a bummer, we still made the most of it and enjoyed our visit.

I am SO sad we didn't get to see the Lion King live.  We got to the first show too late, then just never timed it right to see it.

It stormed that evening, so we missed out on all the light shows too!

Reid and Josh rode a dinosaur ride (which would've made the rest of us dizzy and sick!)
This was a ride called Expedition Everest.  Of all the parks, this was Reid's favorite ride.
 My 3 sons! :)

Jason and I took Swahili at Baylor so we loved seeing these Swahili words on a big board.  And of course we knew every one of them (NOT!)
We had breakfast at a wonderful buffet called Tusker House.  Yum! All of the characters were dressed in safari which was really fun!

 How cool is this tree??

When the sun was out, Connor liked taking a dip in the pool each afternoon.

Mimi riding with the boys.  You can't tell, but Connor is dying laughing, having so much fun!

Time for bed; early to rise for Epcot the next day!
