Back during football season, Josh was offered tickets to the A&M vs. Ole Miss game...at Ole Miss. So on a whim, we decided to drop the kids off with Mimi and Papa Jud and hit the road. It was such a fun road trip! The first night we stayed at a casino in Shreveport and even though I left my drivers license at home (!!!) we were able to talk our way in! We enjoyed playing blackjack for quite a while. The next morning, we arose early to continue our drive to Mississippi.
The tailgates there were AH-MAZING! And the people there were so very nice! They welcomed the "enemy" into all their tailgates! We talked to the couple of this tailgate for quite some time. They are from Austin and have three boys who went/currently go to Ole Miss. Their tailgates are so over the top that Southern Living was there doing a piece on them!
There was a mimosa fountain!
Here is the nice lady who put together the tailgate.
Unfortunately, it turned rainy, windy and veeeery cold. We lasted until 3rd quarter because even bundled up with heat warmers, we were still freezing.

Despite the yucky weather, it was such a good road trip for the two of us and definitely my favorite place to tailgate!!
