Spring Break

This year our spring break was the same week as all of the Houston, Dallas and San Antonio schools so we thought we'd get "out of town" from these cities.  Mimi and I decided to take the boys to Waco.  But once we got there, we realized everyone else had the same idea!!  Every place we tried to go was SO crowded! So we did a lot of Plan B's.
(Sorry these are out of order)

Because the zoo was so crowded, we played at the park!

Then onto Vitek's for lunch! Connor loves the gut pack!
And visited the Dr. Pepper museum.  We love our DP!
Pretending to eat tacos before washing it down with DP

The boys had a lot of fun swimming in the hotel pool

Then, we went to Baylor campus where Reid found an imprint of one of the past Baylor Bears named  "Reid"

And we finished the night off at the student center bowling and playing shuffle board

On our way home, we stopped at the Texas Prison Museum in Huntsville.

And the Armed Forces museum to see all the big vehicles

 Look out behind you boys!!!

So our trip didn't go as planned but wasn't a bust.  Their favorite things were swimming in the hotel pool and going to the museum, which is just 45 minutes from our house.  :)
