Catching Up

To celebrate our 3rd anniversary, Josh and I went to Lake Travis and dined at the Oasis. Although our service was pretty bad, we enjoyed the view and were glad to get a night out alone. MaMaw surprised us and drove up to babysit so we could have a nice dinner without any interruptions :)



Then, a couple of weeks ago Josh and I went to San Antonio and saw Max Stallings and Robert Earl Keen play at Floore's Country Store. This was a gift to Josh for our 3rd anniversary. The traditional gift is leather so I told him he had to wear his leather boots and belt. We had lots of fun and really appreciate MaMaw for watching our sick little man.

After San Antonio, we drove to Dallas (yes we were burning up I-35) to visit with friends and family. We had dinner with our favorite Uncle Jason, who introduced to Babe's Chicken. YUM!!

Connor does not do well on long road trips (he lasts an hour max) so Josh brought his laptop and figured out how to set it up for Connor to watch a movie. Thanks Mimi for the Elmo dvd because we watched it over, and over, and over...
