TOUCHDOWN!!

Connor and I went to our first Baylor football game of the season and the Bears certainly didn't disappoint. The final score was 68-13! We met Mimi and Papa Jud there and also met up with cousin Denton. Uncle Jason gave us his ticket because he had to be in a wedding Saturday night. When we first arrived we went to the Bear Pits for Connor to meet the bears. Baylor fans hold their hand (paw) up in the air and say "Sic 'Em." Connor saw the bear and put his hand in the air and said "sssssss." He truly bleeds green and gold! (Maybe a bit of maroon here and there...)
Once we arrived at the stadium we hung out and ate in the Letterman's Lounge. This place is perfect for little kids during the game, although Connor managed to touch everything in site. We decided to brave it and take him out to the game, figuring it would last 5 minutes. He ended up staying the whole first half!! He was a bit wiggly, but we all took turns holding him and he became very interested in the game. These were the highlights:

--He danced every time the band played

--When Baylor scores, they set off fireworks so he thought that was a treat

--Also when we score the crowd goes back and forth yelling "BAYLOR BEARS." He'd throw his hands up in the air and yell right along with everyone.

--Josh taught him the sign for "touchdown" so again every time we scored, he yelled and did the signal. Lucky for us that happened again...

and again...

and again

Connor's bedtime came around halftime so we left Mimi and Papa Jud to cheer on the Bears. He had such a great time and we can't wait to take him back to homecoming.

We also should mention that Josh was at A&M watching the Aggies whoop up on UAB with a final score of 56-19.
