Doctor, Doctor

Yesterday I had my 16 week check-up and we got to see our little one on the ultrasound. When we first saw Connor on the ultrasound he was moving his hand up and down and we joked that he was doing Sic 'Em Bears. Well the first thing we saw with this baby was a thumb up in the air as to say Gig 'Em. (I guess I'll have to sing That Good Ol Baylor Line when rocking Connor to sleep so lil one can hear it!!) The doctor and nurse were able to tell the sex of the baby and told us that if we change our minds to let them know. The whole time we were watching baby, two little voices in my head were arguing. One was saying "look at the legs; figure out if it's a boy or girl," while the other voice was saying "shut up and focus on the face!" Afterwards I was convinced that I did not see any boy parts, but Josh pointed out what appears to be those little parts on our picture. So I guess time will just tell! All in all, they said the baby looks perfect, and that's all a mother can ask for!

Mimi is in town and babysat so that josh could go with me to the doctor. Thomas the Train is coming to the area this weekend so we have tickets for Friday. Stay tuned for pictures on that adventure!

I always hated that the doc could see in a second what the sex was and that we were absolutely clueless. Every time we went, Husband thought he would see one thing and the next time he would see something else.

So happy everything is going well. I can't wait to find out if Connor is going to have a baby brother or a baby sister. Hope you are feeling well!!!
