A Family Fun Weekend

Choo-Choo!! This is what Connor said all day. Friday morning we battled the rain and cold weather to go see Thomas the Train. Connor got antsy on the train, but enjoyed some of the other activities. Because of the rain, not all the events were set up. Overall, his favorite thing was petting the animals!!

On Saturday we decided to take a little trip down to New Braunfels and go to the SNAKE FARM!! We always laugh and sing the Snake Farm song when we pass it on I-35, but decided this would be a fun family outing. We met MaMaw for lunch then off to see the snakes. Aside from the reptiles, there were all kinds of animals to see. It was like a mini zoo. Every time an animal would make a sound, Connor would respond with a similar sound and a conversation would begin. Con-man's favorite part of this outing though was chasing the chickens and peacocks all around. The birds were running freely and Connor thought it was hilarious to run around chasing them. As we were leaving we randomly ran into Josh's good friend from high school who lives in San Antonio. He had never been to the snake farm either, so he, his girlfriend and gf's son decided to go on a whim. It was so funny to see them there.

Dressed like his Papa Jud!!
The snakes were huge!!! That's an albino snake on the limb.
Connor tried to ride this poor goat. When the goat ran away, Connor found a pig and tried to ride the pig. He is not at all scared of any animals!!
Go Connor Go!! Chase those chickens!

He had just chased the peacock and laughed the whole time!
Except for watching the Aggies and Bears go down, all in all, it was a great family fun weekend!
