I need advice!

Let me just sum it up in one word: TODDLER!!!  My, oh my!!  I can't say that I wasn't warned about this stage but whew, I wasn't exactly ready.  Let me start by saying that Connor is a smart, hilarious and most of the time sweet kid. (He tells me all the time "Mommy's preeeetty!")  BUT just recently he has started this hitting/pushing/biting stage.  He will literally walk up to a little kid and tackle him or her to the ground!!  Granted I think some football coaches would loooove his moves, but not most mammas of the kids on the bottom.  We've tried time out, spanking, actually leaving the playground area but nothing seems to work. He's even getting in trouble and mother's day out and having to sit out. It's so embarassing!! So if any parents who have gone through this have any advice for me, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

In the meantime, here are some pictures to enjoy:

We hosted 5 families from church. Ten adults and 10 kids! Here are a few of the kiddos:

A friend of mine had a son who would push and bite. One time she decided to push her son down and bite HIM. Of course he cried and then mom explained that he is making other kids cry too and mommy and daddy dont normally bite or push because they don't want to make people cry, etc. Somehow it clicked being on the receiving end. Different techniques work for different kids but I thought I'd at least share what worked for my friend. It might sound harsh but it sends a clear, direct message!
