Easter Egg Hunt Round 1

We have several Easter egg hunts lined up this year, the first one starting at a park near our house.  H-E-B sponsors the event every year and we've taken the boys the past 2 years.  It's not really a "hunt"per say.  They just dump out tons of candy all over the field and the kids run to pick it up.

2010

We were waiting for baby #2 (didn't know if it was boy or girl yet!) to make his/her debut.

2011

 Anxiously awaiting for the whistle.

Reid had never "hunted" before so he picked up the first piece and handed it to me, then looked at me like "now what?"

 It didn't take him long to figure out what to do!

 H-E-Buddy was there.  Reid was too scared to give him high 5.

 They had a table of crafts where they made airplanes and photo frames.

 Their favorite thing to do at the park...play in the water!!  Because of the rain the water has been flowing more rapid than usual.  They like to find sticks, leaves or anything that floats and throw them into the water to watch them float down the stream.

 After we caught Reid drinking the water not once but twice we decided to re-direct them over the the playground.

 Such concentration!

 Connor loves the monkey bars.

 Reid just hangs there and laughs.

 Oh how I love these boys!
