Since Connor was a baby, we rush outside around 7am every Wednesday morning to watch for the garbage men. Reid used to be scared, but now they both run to the end of the driveway as soon as we hear them coming!!
Here they come!
Waiting...
Reid even prayed for "men" as he calls the garbage men at dinner one night!
Waving goodbye
So cool!
Every year we have doves that lay eggs in one of my hanging plants. It's fun to watch the whole process. We get to see the doves sitting there day in and day out, then get a peek at the eggs when they take a break. We watch when the eggs hatch and how the baby birds eat and learn to fly. Last year we had 4 or 5 doves lay eggs. Was it the same dove each time?? We don't know. But the process has once again started this year so the boys were out scoping out the doves.
Which way did the dove fly?
Connor's preschool ends at noon on Thursday so many of those days we have a picnic with Daddy. Daddy works near Lake Travis so we eat then throw rocks in the water, looking for turtles. Despite all the rainfall we've received, the lake is still down 34 feet. So here are the boys standing on the bottom of the lake!
I love spring!!
