Connor Turns 7

I started this post a month ago and am just now getting around to publishing it!

Why do my kids keep getting bigger?!? I guess there's no way to stop it, so I might as well embrace it.  Connor is still such a sweet, caring boy. He's such a mature, responsible leader and I know he has a bright future ahead of him.

His 7 year stats:
Height: 4'3" - 91%
Weight: 54lb, - 64%

His predicted height is 6'4" (within 2") by the time he's 18!

We didn't have a party for Reid, and decided not to have a party for Connor either because we still don't know that many people.  And also, because the month of June has been SO busy!!

He had never seen magic candles before and couldn't believe that every time he blew them out, they'd light up again!!

The boys went to VBS in Livingston which happened to fall on the week of Connor's birthday.  Because everyone at church knows the boys so well, the director called Connor on stage at the end of the day and had everyone sing happy birthday to him.  It was very sweet!  

After that, Connor wanted to go to this Mexican restaurant in town that sings to him, dresses him with a sombrero and puts whip cream and cherry on his nose.  He thinks it's great!

After lunch we went back to Mimi and Papa Jud's house to eat cookie cake and open gifts. Since Connor doesn't like cake, Mimi made a cookie cake and we decorated it with a baseball theme.

 These little baseball players were used on Uncle Jason's cake when he was a little boy! (Mimi saves everything!! :)

 Aunt Cindy has two little boys (who are almost 30 years old!) and believes that when one has a birthday, the brother gets presents as well!  

 These were hilarious.  You wind up the nose, then the mustache and eyebrows move up and down.
