Pumpkin Patch Take 1

We visited our first pumpkin patch this year but have a few more fall festivals to go to which all will include more pumpkins, or as Connor now calls them "pah kas." We got up this morning and headed out to a nearby church and had the place all to ourselves. Connor enjoyed running through the pumpkins and trying to pick most of them up. But, as most of our outings end, he became more interested in finding sticks and "oks" aka rocks. Usually both hands, pockets and mouth are filled with rocks!

Which one should I pick??

Having so much fun

Soooo excited he found a stick!

The only way I can get him to smile on cue is to say "show me your teeth" and about 1 out of 10 times it usually works.

Of course he found a wheelbarrow and attempted to push it.

An expression we see quite a bit. He is so dramatic and has so many faces. Wonder where he gets that from?!?

He was telling me that a "pah ka" was on his shirt.

And I thought this one was too funny not to include. I went in to check on Connor before I went to bed and this was how he was sleeping. Life is good!
His vocabulary has really picked up. He says new words everyday and what's a bit scary is that he repeats A LOT of words and sounds that he hears. That song "Oh be careful little ears/mouth what you hear/say" is what I keep thinking about!

So cute! I love the one of him sleeping...hilarious!
We went to Sweetberry Farms (in Marble Falls) and I highly recommend it. There was a ton of stuff for them to do, so worth the drive!

So cute that he got so excited about a stick. I wish we could get so excited about the little things in life. Love the sleeping position. SO carefree!
